SIGI Waki or Wakizashi (side-sword) is inspired by the traditionally made Japanese swords which were used by the Samurais. A shorter, accompanying sidearm serves both defensive and offensive purposes and is a must have for a practitioner of Japanese sword arts. The blade of SIGI Waki is made of durable spring steel and is safe enough to be used for thrusting and cutting in heavy and repetitive full contact sparring.
