SUMMARY:Spring is coming – sparring camp 2025
DESCRIPTION:We are gathering just before the coming of spring for a few days dedicated to Historical fencing freeplay. We will have not only Open floor\, but fencing games\, sparring coaching\, ruleset variations experiments\, judged matches etc. A few short workshops will be focused on how to fence safely and efficiently during your freeplay time\, specially if you are with unknown opponents.\nWe might also have a small unofficial competition to top it off.\nI have chosen a hotel that offers accommodation\, 3 meals a day and a training hall specially for us. Cost will be 155 Euro per person for the whole event with everything included.\nAt least partial\, preferably full gear is required for participation. However I can lend some elements if notified early enough. There is an option for providing swords and transport from Sofia if anyone decides to fly in

DESCRIPTION:Our HEMA community is growing each year and it’s time to have a dedicated tournament day for the Ladies.\nAt this event you will have the opportunity to fence in the three commonly trained disciplines in Bulgaria – Longsword\, Arming sword\, Sword and buckler. Also a mixed weapon tournament game “Queen of the hill”(further details – later). Weapon and equipment will be on “bring your own” basis but I will do my best to provide everyone who wants to join with what they are missing (let me know before the event).\nStandard gear requirements apply – will be further linked for those newer to the scene.\nRuleset will be further shared but the basic is my training “first hit priority” ruleset – clean hit – 2 points\, bilateral hits – 1 point to the attacker\, simultaneous attack – 0 points.\nParticipation fee: One tournament 25€\, second tournament 15€\, third tournament 10€

SUMMARY:Sofia HEMA Gathering - Summer is here 2023
DESCRIPTION:A two day gathering for historical swordsmanship in Sofia. We will have Saturday afternoon from 14:00 until 20:00 for free fencing with all weapons. On Sunday we will have a few workshops:\n1. Zeljko from Terca(Serbia) – the basic of rapier fencing.\n2. Radostin from Freifechter Sofia – working left hand vs right and right hand vs left.\n3. To be confirmed.\nFree fencing on Sunday will also be an option.\nThere will be a small entry fee for covering the hall’s costs. It will depend on the number of people present but no more than 30 euro.
