DESCRIPTION:Ace of Blades 2024 is the first edition of a new HEMA event in Eastern Europe\, co-organized by Iron Will HEMA Academy and 7 Swords HEMA Bucuresti. \nThis edition will consist of the following activities:\n– Open Longsword Tournament\n– Women’s Longsword Tournament\n– Longsword Flourish Display\n– Longsword Multiple Opponents Contest\n– Social Dinner on Saturday\n– Free Sparring space on Sunday \nThe top 3 of each of the disciplines Open Longsword Tournament\, Women’s Longsword Tournament\, Longsword Flourish Display and Longsword Multiple Opponents Contest will get medals and prizes. \nRegistration fee: 70 Euros. \nIn the weeks and months leading up to the event\, we will post regular updates on the FB event page (search for Ace of Blades 2024) regarding:\n– our expectations for the first edition\n– the format and ruleset for each of the Longsword disciplines\n– explanatory videos for important parts of each of the disciplines\n– the registration process \nThe title of “Ace of Blades” is not only the event title. The concept behind our event\, and how the activities tie into each other\, is that\nif you place in the top 3 places of 2 out of the 3 main disciplines (Open or Women’s LS Tournament\, Longsword Flourish Display and Longsword Multiple Opponents Contest)\, you will receive the title of “King of Blades” or “Queen of Blades” and a special prize. If you place in the top 3 places of all 3 of the main disciplines mentioned above\, you will receive the title of “Ace of Blades” and a special prize. \nWe’re very excited to bring you this new HEMA event concept and we hope you’ll enjoy it. \nCome on over and raise your sword and your chin to the Ace of Blades Challenge!
